The religious life whether it is of the clergy or of ordinary persons speak to us throughout their lives and documented for us what inspired them and stimulated their spiritual life. Accordingly they passed to us their legacies in which became the foundation of our Christian faith especially from our forefathers of the Church from the East where Jesus shone to the whole world or by our Western Fathers of the Church by which are kept and protected, translated into many languages, the beauty of that Enlightment that driven the darkness of the world.
What has ignited our faith throughout the centuries until now is still encouraging us to follow Christ and his teachings in our daily life, whether we are from the East or from Western civilization and culture? We still have that contribution of a rich life in faith as the richness of our Lord Jesus Christ.
We have Sacred Scripture we have Tradition, we have music, architecture, we have religious art, ceremonies we have liturgical rituals, religious orders and we have associations and movements that defend what we have inherited or have been created to proclaim and live whether the corporal or spiritual works of mercy especially to the underprevillage and marginalized.
We have records of heroes and heroic martyrdom life of ordinary people, bishops, patriarchs, kings, princes, popes who tried very hard to live the message of love and service for God and neighbour that is really what makes who we are, lovers of Scripture and Tradition.
Thus these treasures, bought, kept and survived until these days at a precious price to enrich our spiritual life and it has to be strife to add our own print and to pass these treasures to the generation that will come after us, and make them proud of our achievements and struggles as well; and to set an example of faith and martyrdom for them as it did to us, to be inspired and be proud just as much as we are of our Church and Fathers. God in return uses them to foster spiritual growth in human beings this unique charisma is an indication of the vast reaches of our faith that manifested in that majestic beauty that make us who we are. THE CATHOLIC CHURCH.
